Jared, Sue, and Jacob at the famous Antonio’s Pizza on Sumner Ave. This is the best place on the island for pizza. The walls are covered with movie star memorabilia and the floors are covered with peanut shells. Every table has a pile of peanuts for you to much on while waiting for your pizza. The shells are all discarded onto the floor and become convenient sponges when you spill your drink!

The second photo was taken by Jacob!

Jacob wanted to stay outside on the railing watching the water come off the bow of the boat for as long as he could, but finally the day of traveling caught up with him and he crashed onto Jared’s lap for the rest of the ride. Sue got to sleep on the airplane, and Jared & Jacob caught their Zzzzzz’s here.

OK, so we have added a few links in the sidebar to various places in Avalon and Catalina Island so that you can see what we are talking about when we refer to various places. Some people, we won’t mention names, are having trouble figuring out how to see them. So here are some simple instructions to help you along!

1) Look in the sidebar under “Links” then scroll down to “Locations”.
2) Find the name of the place you want to see and click on it.
3) If you want to, you could “right” click on the name and select “Open link in a new window.”
4) The link will take you to “Google Maps” and a green arrow will point to the location.
5) Near the top right corner of the map, click on the button that says “Satellite.” WOW!! COOL!!
6) Now go to the left side and move the slider bar up to the second notch from the top to zoom in for a closer look!
7) Now come and visit us for a personal tour of all of these places.

So there you have it. Simple as can be. You can also use your mouse to drag the map around and look at other places on the island.

And to make it easy for you, here is the first link for you to click on: Catalina Island
